“Dr. Steiner is the only MD in Florida I trust with my own family.”
Lyndi Love
Acupuncture Physician, Fort Lauderdale, FL
The kind who knows you and your whole family and has the time to find and treat the root cause. Primary care and functional medicine together. Limited to 150 memberships.

This practice isn’t just about treating sickness. It’s about optimizing the things that matter most and cleaning up the terrain of your body for a longer, happier and healthier life.
You’ve been told your bloodwork looks fine, but you don’t feel fine. Or you feel good and want to stay that way for decades. Or you’re already healthy and chasing performance, the kind of person who wants this year to beat last year. Whichever one you are, I built this practice for you.
150
memberships, a few hundred people, not 2,300.
80 minutes
for the first visit, not 20.
7 days
a week I read and answer messages, morning and evening.
In a typical visit, you get about five minutes to actually talk. Here, the first visit is 80 minutes, and most of it is me listening.
It came down to three numbers:
5 minutes
Of actual talk time in a typical primary care visit.

11 seconds
Before the doctor interrupts a patient describing the problem.

2,300 patients
On the average primary care physician's panel.

A lot of people come to me feeling off. Tired, foggy, not as sharp as they used to be. They've usually seen a doctor already and been told their labs and images look normal. What they needed was someone with the time to find what standard tests miss, and the training to treat it. Others come in healthy and aiming higher: executives and athletes working on performance, hormones, and longevity.
I came to medicine the long way. For years I practiced as an acupuncturist and integrative practitioner. The one thing I couldn’t do was the medical side, the prescriptions and the labs, so I went to medical school and closed that gap. Today I hold an MD, a PhD in bioelectric medicine, and a doctorate in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, and I order the labs, adjust the medications, and coordinate the rest of your care.
What mattered most to me, though, was becoming the kind of family doctor who's mostly gone now. The one who looks after the whole family, the mom and the dad, the kids, and one day the grandkids. A guide who knows your history because he's lived it with you, and is still there years later. That's the practice I'm building, the warmth of the old family doctor, with the tools of modern medicine.
Most functional medicine doctors only treat with functional medicine, while primary care gets referred out. I do both. I’m the modern family doctor and integrative doctor in one, bringing back the doctor of old: the kind who made house calls, worked to prevent the heart attack, and still asked what your family eats for breakfast. Today that also means optimizing your energy, your performance, how long and how well you live. I still make house calls. Mine happen over video: you at your kitchen table, me with the time to actually listen.
Whatever you’re dealing with, or working toward, I approach it the same way. You’re constantly regenerating new cells, and the majority of your body rebuilds itself in under two years. Cells need electricity to regenerate, and they need raw nutrients, because you can’t build something out of nothing. They also only repair in rest and recovery mode, and many people have been locked in fight-or-flight for years. This is the terrain your health depends on: nutrients, signals, and energy. Give it back what it’s missing, and the body does what it already knows how to do, which is heal.

“The hardest thing about being an acupuncturist in Naples is sending patients back to MDs who undo the work we just did. Dr. Steiner is the first physician I've found whose treatment plan supports mine instead of fighting it. That changes everything for the patient laying on my table.”

“I've been in clinical practice for eighteen years. Other diagnostic approaches take valuable time away from treatment. Dr. Steiner simplifies the process and gets you to the root cause faster.”
Tim Eng, L.Ac.
Acupuncturist, Massachusetts

“I've been in clinical practice for twenty-eight years at Kaiser Permanente and in private practice. Most of my patients came to me after their MDs couldn't help. The reason I take Dr. Steiner seriously is that he catches what those other physicians missed.”
Rick Bernard, L.Ac.

Fifteen minutes, by video, with me. Not a salesperson, not a coordinator. Ask anything. Pick a time that works and you're on my calendar.
You walk me through what's been going on, I share how I'd approach it, and we decide together whether this is right for you. If Terrain isn't the right fit, I'll tell you straight, and point you where to go.
If it's a fit, you join and we build your healthcare plan together.
If you only want a doctor when you’re sick, urgent care costs less, and that’s the truth. Terrain is for people and families who want one doctor who knows them, watches their blood work over time, and works on both horizons: how you perform this year, and how you’re living thirty years from now.
Fifteen minutes, by video, with me. Ask anything, no obligation either way. If this is the care you’ve wanted for yourself and your family, book the call and we’ll find out together whether it’s a fit.
The $500 rate belongs to the first 150 memberships. After the practice fills, new memberships join at $600.
